Drag Conveyor

Cement Industry Solutions

Drag conveyors, also known as 'en-masse' conveyors, operate by having their chain directly interact with material dropped into the conveyor casing. As the material passes through the return strand of the chain, it forms a bed at the bottom of the casing. The chain then engages with this material, moving it en masse to the discharge point. There are two primary configurations: one with tall, hard-faced flights welded to the chain, typically used for angled operation, and another with hard-faced flights welded to both sides of the chain, usually operating horizontally.
