Belt Conveyor

Belt conveyors are widely used as a continuous transport mechanism over long distances using a belt in a closed loop around a head and tail pulley with the belt supported by idlers and return rolls. In cement, they are used to transport raw material from the quarry to the processing facility. Belt conveyors are used to move raw material in a metered way between processes through the automatic adjustment of material hopper gates and belt speed, allowing for more efficient processing and consistent throughput in the cement plant line.
