Cooling System

Clinker cooling conveyors are located at the discharge end of the rotary kiln. They use heavy duty abrasion resistant chains to slowly drag the hot clinker as air is blown through the enclosed casing. It is the most important heat recovery system in the cement production process, as hot air from the cooling process is used to pre-heat the rotary kiln and calciner.
