Rotary Kiln
Cement Industry Solutions
Rotary kilns are a crucial component in the production of Portland and other types of hydraulic cement. The kiln's rotating cylinder, inclined at a slight angle, slowly rotates to move raw meal (a mix of limestone, clay, sand, and other materials) towards the burner end, where it is heated to 1,450°C (2,640°F) to form cement clinker. Various rotary kiln designs aim to enhance energy efficiency, operational ease, product quality, and reduce environmental impact.
